In addition to Pilates, we offer the GYROTONIC® Method of exercise, ever-popular BarreSOL® ballet-inspired movement classes, and floor classes (Pilates Mat, yoga, TRX®, and breathwork). Sun Pilates Studio also conducts and hosts specialized workshops and clinics led by renowned instructors and practitioners from all over the world.
We cater to a large and dynamic clientele - ranging from elite/competitive athletes to Baby Boomers working to improve their strength and balance. We also provide therapeutic rehabilitation for clients recovering from injuries and surgery and accept most major auto and worker’s compensation insurance for post-rehabilitative work. Our studio is warm, inviting, and centered around health and wellness.
About Sun Pilates
Small group sessions with individualized attention are the essence of our philosophy at Sun Pilates Studio. Our classes are designed to improve strength, coordination, flexibility, balance and stability. The Pilates Reformer is one of the original pieces of equipment designed by Joseph Pilates that provides resistance and referral with a series of springs and ropes. Space is limited in all classes and advance registration is required. This enables our instructors to correct and modify for all fitness levels and ages.
In a private Pilates or GYROTONIC® session, you experience a 55-minute session tailored to your body’s level and desired focus on Pilates equipment: the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and/or they Gyrotonic equipment. A private session allows a unique whole body experience of discovery and awareness, while strengthening, toning and increasing flexibility.
Sun Pilates Studio's workshops are designed to enhance knowledge and body awareness with an in-depth focus on different modalities of movement. From foam roller foundations to SUPilates, these stimulating workshops delve into specific facets of the Pilates Method or teach the application of Pilates in a range of specialized areas. New workshops are added regulary and taught by studio instructors as well as guest teachers.
